BRIEF
To create visual aid for lay people to understand the six Gestalt Principles.
People between the age of 18 to 35 from a non-design background.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Gestalt principles are principles or laws of human perception that describe how humans recognize patterns and simplify complex images. When it comes to our interpretation of visual stimuli, we’re always looking for the simplest possible way to understand a thing. Our brains are built to see structure and patterns in order for us to better understand the environment that we’re living in.

Since Gestalt Principles are something every human observes subconsciously, I wanted there to be a 'before' and 'after' explanation of the subject in which the principle is observed.
I decided to depict this in the form of calligraphic compositions compiled in a book . Every page would have a composition on a flap under which would be the same composition but with the explained Gestalt Principle. This would be done by highlighting the parts of the composition. This will give the reader a chance to look at the composition first and on reading the explanation, it will make sense.
